Family-Owned Bagel Shop to Sell Limited Edition Pink Bagels
THB Bagelry & Deli, winner of multiple “Best of Baltimore” awards for its authentic New York-style bagels, announced a partnership with LifeBridge Health to raise money and awareness for Breast Cancer Awareness month in October.
Throughout October, a portion from every Box of Bagels (20 bagels), as well as a portion of sales from every dozen bagels sold, will be donated directly to LifeBridge Health’s breast cancer centers. In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Box of Bagels will be branded pink and include the LifeBridge Health logo.
Additionally, starting Monday, October 11, THB will sell limited-edition pink bagels in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. A portion of the proceeds from the pink bagel sales will also be donated back to LifeBridge Health’s local cancer centers. The pink bagels will be available at all six THB locations (Owings Mills, Columbia, Towson, Timonium, Charles Village, and Canton) and will be sold until Friday, October 15.
THB will also be donating boxes of the pink and assorted bagels to LifeBridge Health’s local breast cancer centers, including the Lapidus Cancer Institute at Sinai Hospital and the Herman & Walter Samuelson Breast Care Center at Northwest Hospital.
Finally, THB will provide bagels to the patients at the upcoming LifeBridge Health “Mammothon” taking place on Wednesday, November 10 at locations throughout the Baltimore area.
“We love giving back to our local community and know that many residents seek cancer treatment at LifeBridge Health hospitals,” THB CEO Tony Scotto said. “Partnering with LifeBridge Health allows us to make an impact directly in our local community by giving back to these cancer centers that so many community members receive treatment.”
In total, THB will be donating more than 600 bagels to LifeBridge Health throughout this campaign.
“LifeBridge Health is thrilled to partner with such a wonderful local business to increase awareness during Breast Cancer Awareness Month,” said Kelly Meltzer, director of central services in LifeBridge Health’s development department. “The pink bagels are a fun and creative way to raise awareness for the cause. Each sale will help provide treatment and resources to those living with breast cancer in the local Baltimore area, and the pink bagels are sure to bring a smile to our patients and staff in our cancer centers.”
