Miami notables and influencers joined founder Maria Tash at a cocktail event to celebrate the luxury piercing brand’s new location in Bal Harbour Shops. To coincide with the opening, Maria released a collection of fine jewelry designs available exclusively at this location. The special assortment features a colorful selection of rare rose-purple and light pink natural diamond pieces.
Celebrity guests, Miami VIPs, and friends of the brand included Angie Landaburu, Ash Mateu, Carla Nunez, Jana Rose, Gaby Aleixandre, Daniela Ramirez, Maria Chan, Vanessa Johnson, Laurence Bigio, Heather Hannon, Gio Gutierrez, Ria Michelle, Carolina Arrango, Julianna Sharkey, Lilly Guevara, Maria Urdaneta, Priscilla Rettig, and Samantha Purnell.
During the event, guests mingled and viewed the stunning Bal Harbour Collection while enjoying passed hors d’oeuvres, signature cocktails, complimentary piercings, and eclectic sounds by popular Miami-based DJ Yissel.
This marks the brand’s first store in Miami and is an important step in considering a permanent location in the city. It is the second location in the U.S. following the success of the MARIA TASH flagship in New York City, which opened in 2004. The new store signals a significant expansion point for the brand domestically and brings the total of MARIA TASH locations to eight globally. The new space in Bal Harbour Shops features an open floor plan spanning over 3,300 square feet and houses three designated piercing areas.
