Blue Delta Capital Partners Appoints Sanju Bansal to Advisory Board

Leading software entrepreneur and investor joins the Advisory Board for Blue Delta

The team at Blue Delta Capital Partners is pleased to announce that Sanju Bansal has joined the firm as a member of the Advisory Board.  “Sanju has set the standard in the region for successful software entrepreneurs and we are flattered to have him join our team,” said Blue Delta co-founder Mark Frantz.  Mr. Frantz added, “Sanju has coached and mentored some of the best up and coming technology CEOs in the past decade and his addition to the Blue Delta team provides our CEOs with unique insights and perspectives, to help them scale their companies and serve their customers’ missions with differentiated offerings.”

Mr. Bansal has known the General Partners at Blue Delta for over a decade, having served with Mr. Frantz on multiple boards, including most recently the CSRA (NYSE: CSRA) board of directors, before the company was acquired by General Dynamics for almost $10 billion.  Sanju also served with Blue Delta’s Phil Nolan on the Perspecta (NYSE: PRSP) board of directors, before it was acquired earlier this year by Peraton for $7.1 billion.

“Building and scaling technology companies is my passion, and I have enjoyed working with members of the Blue Delta team over the years to coach CEOs and their executives to new levels.  I’m excited to join Blue Delta to advise their portfolio companies on the next generation of technologies that can better serve the U.S. Federal Government Services market, providing greater capabilities to the Nation’s missions”, said Mr. Bansal.

Sanju is currently co-founder and chairman of CareJourney, a healthcare data science company dedicated to improving provider efficiency. He also serves as a member of the board of directors of several companies, including SimilarWeb (NYSE: SMWB), a digital intelligence provider; Everquote (NASDAQ: EVER), a leading online insurance marketplace; Cvent, a Vista Equity-backed cloud-based event management software provider, and AIS, a key Microsoft partner for the Azure cloud.  Mr. Bansal formerly co-founded MicroStrategy (NASDAQ: MSTR), a provider of business intelligence software, where he served as Vice Chairman. Sanju  holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from MIT and an M.S. in computer science from Johns Hopkins University.

About Blue Delta Capital Partners

Blue Delta formed in late 2009 to fill a void in the Government Services marketplace, by providing equity capital to entrepreneurs who wanted to grow their businesses, but without selling control of their companies or taking on too much debt.  We make equity investments in return for non-control ownership positions and given our decades of experience as venture capitalists and successful CEOs, we can be value-added partners in the businesses that we back.www.bluedeltacapitalpartners.com
