Southern food-inspired restaurant’s 18th location will be located at Station Square
Known for its Southern and Appalachian food and traditions, Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar will open its Pittsburgh location in January 2022 at 111 W Station Square Drive, 15219. This will be the brand’s 18th location nationwide.
“While Tupelo Honey might be a national brand, we pride ourselves on creating a sense of community around each location that opens,” said Eric Gabrynowicz, Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar’s vice president of culinary. “Our specialty is using great ingredients from responsibly-sourced vendors to craft brunches, lunches and suppers that bring friends and family together around our table. We can’t wait to share our hospitality and scratch-made Southern food with the Pittsburgh community.”
Honoring the legacy of the Steel City, the 5,000-square-foot venue is located at the iconic Station Square riverfront complex and will include a Pittsburgh and Lake Erie Railroad Co. train depot mural, complemented by industrial design touches and a black, gold and white color palette paying homage to the Pittsburgh Steelers. In addition to the main dining room, the restaurant will also feature an Iron City Beer garden and dog-friendly patio.

About Tupelo Honey Southern Kitchen & Bar
Tupelo Honey has an independent spirit fostered from its start, deep in the Appalachian Mountains. Here we learned the craft of southern cooking and southern hospitality. We take a fresh perspective on classic southern-inspired dishes and twist familiar gatherings into new and memorable experiences. At our core, Tupelo brings people and communities together. Tupelo Honey feels like your home away from home.
We began our journey in 2000 as one of the first farm-to-table scratch kitchens in downtown Asheville, NC. We have honored that tradition of scratch-made food and drinks, and our farm-to-table roots have grown with us to an impressive network of purveyors and farmers that serve our restaurants all over the country.
