Gulfstream Park Village, South Florida’s premier entertainment, dining and restaurant destination located on the border of Broward and Miami-Dade County, has teamed up with Florida Power & Light Company on a research initiative called “FPL EVolution.” The goal is to help accelerate the growth of electric vehicles in the Miami-Dade, Broward and surrounding communities.
There are 12 EV Charging stations available to employees and guests for use during the center’s business hours. The charging stations are located on the fourth floor of the covered parking garage.

FPL is partnering with organizations that value sustainability, including Gulfstream Park Village, to make Florida a leader in electric transportation. Already Florida is the third largest EV state in the country. To charge an EV for free at one of the FPL EVolution Chargers at Gulfstream Park Village, users will need to download the ChargePoint app and set up an account . New accounts can then text “EV” to MYFPL (69375) to receive a link to the FPL EVolution connection and follow the prompts to be connected.
Gulfstream Park Village has implemented a number of important policies and procedures to safeguard the health and well-being of its valued guests and employees. The open-air entertainment destination is adhering to the best practices recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, as well as state and local health care officials, to make Gulfstream Park Village a place where guests feel comfortable venturing back into public and reconnecting with friends and family. A social distance of six feet between visitors and face coverings are required.
