Olde Raleigh Distillery to Celebrate One Year Anniversary with Bourbon, Bagpipes and Bluegrass Saturday, Jan. 29

WHAT: Celebrate a year with Olde Raleigh Distillery and the release of Olde Raleigh Whiskey Society Batch #5 on Saturday, January 29. The event begins at 12:00 pm with a bagpipe procession and “waking of the bourbon”, beginning in the distillery and making its way through town to signal the start of the event. The Bluegrass band Into the Fog will perform from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Blues & Rock band Phoebe’s Duo will perform at 7:30 p.m. Additionally, the distillery will host two private bourbon tastings with all samples of five of the blended bourbon batches at 1:30 and 3:30 p.m., including the three that have sold out. Tickets for the tasting are limited and are $60.
