The Temecula Valley Winegrowers Association has named independent agency 62ABOVE as their first agency of record, according to agency Founder and Chief Relations Officer, Jon Bailey. The account, won in regional review, had no previous agency and did not announce billings.
“Temecula Valley is within a 90 minute drive of Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego, making the experience of wine tasting available to more than 22 million adults,” stated Bailey. “It’s an honor to be the first marketing agency to help this wine region tell their stories to the world and achieve the positive reputation they deserve for making fantastic wines.”
Working with Executive Director Krista Chaich and President of the Board and Owner of Baily Winery & Vineyard Phil Baily, the agency assignment will be starting with brand development and evolution, creating a new creative campaign and digital assets along with public relations, and social media. Media planning and buying will also be handled by 62ABOVE.
“The Temecula Valley wine region has achieved so much since the first commercial vineyard was planted in 1968, going from a one-stop-sign town to being named one of Wine Enthusiast’s Top 10 Wine Destinations in the world,” said Phil Baily, Owner and Winemaker at Baily Winery and President of the Temecula Valley Winegrowers Association’s Board of Directors. “Partnering with 62ABOVE is the next step in this exciting journey for our region, and we can’t wait to see where this important collaboration takes us.”

“62ABOVE’s breadth and depth of experience, not just in the wine industry, but also in hospitality and tourism, as well as their passion and uniquely creative process made them stand out as the clear choice for Temecula Valley,” said TVWA Executive Director Krista Chaich. “Our small, scrappy team has gotten us to where we are today; and now with the passing of our Wine and Agricultural Heritage District, we are excited to expand our branding, PR, and marketing efforts to share the Temecula Valley wine story with the world. This is our time.”
