Augmented Appoints Nadav Tomer As An Independent Director

The AR company also expands commercial capabilities with addition of former Medtronic VP as chief marketing officer

CHICAGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Augmedics, a pioneer in augmented reality surgical navigation, today announced the appointment of Nadav Tomer as an independent director to the company’s board of directors.

Tomer is an experienced medical device executive with 23 years’ global experience who retired from Johnson & Johnson in January, where he most recently served as Global President, Spine, for DePuy Synthes Companies. Tomer’s appointment follows the addition of medtech veteran Kevin Hykes as Augmedics’ President & CEO in January and marks the company’s ongoing commitment to build a world-class team focused on the successful commercialization of the company’s revolutionary AR-driven xvision system®.

Krider brings 17 years’ experience at Medtronic in a variety of marketing and sales leadership roles, including three years as Vice President of Strategic Marketing and six years as Regional Vice President of Sales in the Restorative Therapies Group, which includes spine, navigation, imaging and robotics, and neurosurgery.
