BCW, the global communications agency in the business of moving people, today announced that Jennifer Little has joined as Executive Vice President, Texas Market Leader. She will be responsible for growing the agency’s business and talent across Dallas, Austin and Houston.
“Jennifer brings a unique mix of consumer, brand, technology, B2B, lifestyle and food brands/hospitality experience to BCW, which will be incredibly valuable in headquarters-rich Texas and for the state’s Silicon Hills in Austin,” said Brooke Hovey, President, North America and Global Chief Growth Officer, BCW. “In addition to having a deep understanding of the Texas market, Jennifer is deeply committed to talent development and mentoring the next generation of communications professionals. She’s exactly the type of leader who will move people for our clients and move our people upwards in their careers.”
Before joining BCW, Little provided public relations strategy, storytelling, leadership and execution support to agency, corporate and nonprofit clients. Little is a recognized champion for young talent in the industry through roles as a lecturer at the University of Texas at Arlington and advisor for Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA). She has mentored students and young professionals throughout her career and recently helped create a diversity program to eliminate the financial and networking barriers that prevent students of color from joining professional organizations and launching their careers.
Little spent four years with MikeWorldWide (formerly MWWPR), most recently as Senior Vice President/General Manager of the agency’s Dallas office. In addition to being responsible for operations, staff and client relationships in Dallas, Little oversaw the technology, lifestyle, B2B and corporate social responsibility programs and product launches for the agency’s largest client, Samsung Mobile. Before that, Little was a Senior Vice President with Edelman in Dallas for two years, running the agency’s consumer practice across its Dallas and Austin offices. She also was client lead for the Dickies (workwear) and the Boy Scouts of America accounts.
Little also has client-side experience, having worked as Director of Public Relations for Pizza Hut, Inc., based in Dallas. She led external public relations; managed internal and agency teams; was responsible for issues/crisis management; handled food and nutrition programs; and managed community relations and cause marketing for the brand.
Earlier in her career, Little was with Ketchum in Dallas, where her clients included Miller Brewing Company (now MolsonCoors), Nokia and FedEx, among others. She started her career in sports with roles in two university athletics departments.
“BCW is doing really interesting work through its Earned-Plus model to meet and move people wherever – and however – they will be most receptive to a message,” said Little. “BCW also has a tremendous bench of talent across Texas. I’m excited to get to know our team and clients and expand what we are doing in the region.”
