Bradford Wins Four New Tenants for Midway Center

In a first quarter leasing rally, Bradford Commercial Real Estate Services has secured four new tenants for Midway Center in Farmers Branch.

The quartet of leases has filled 9,025 sf in a 46,064-sf project that’s gained occupancy traction as extensive road construction edges closer toward its October completion. Midway Center at 14430-14476 Midway Rd. is now 84% leased, an uptick of more than 19% with the incoming tenants.

The newly signed leases are:

▪ Rock a Snap Baby LLC, 3,750 sf, at 14456 Midway Rd.

▪ VertiCon Construction, 1,950 sf, at 14440 Midway Rd.

▪ Chioma Co., 1,875 sf, at 14454 Midway Rd.

▪ AAT Financial Consultants Corp, 1,450 sf, at 14466 Midway Rd.

Bradford’s Melanie Hughes, senior vice president, and Elizabeth Hooper, market director, lease the retail/showroom project for Kennington Midway Center LLC. The leasing surge has whittled availability to four spaces as the team pushes toward 100% occupancy.

“Activity’s been strong on our vacancies. I think the market is coming alive again,” Hughes says. “Not even Midway Road’s construction has stalled interest.”

The Bradford team negotiated directly with VertiCon Construction and AAT Financial Consultants, both of which have moved into their new spots. The other two new tenants will occupy their spaces in late spring or early summer.

Nicholas Nelson of Discover Real Estate LLC represented Rock a Snap Baby, a photography studio. Rene Robles of Vision Commercial Real Estate handled talks for Chioma, a wellness, beauty and spa operator.

Midway Center is situated in the heart of a vibrant commercial corridor, just south of Belt Line Road and close to Addison’s restaurant row. In the past eight months, the project has attracted two anchor tenants, Bailey’s Bridal and Signarama.

Midway Center is AAT Financial Consultants’ first location. The other three incoming businesses are relocations from within the North Dallas market.

“Kennington did a really good job of rebranding and modernizing this property.” Hughes says, “and it’s now paying off by attracting new tenants.”
