Continental Realty Corp. Selects Danny Gonzalez as Maintenance Technician in Property Management Department

Continental Realty Corporation (CRC), a Baltimore-based real estate investment and management company, has announced the selection of Danny Gonzalez as Maintenance Technician in the firm’s Property Management department. He previously worked as a Maintenance Technician for HoldThyssen, Inc.

Gonzalez will perform general building maintenance tasks with the mission of ensuring the efficient operations of Waterford Park, a nearly 110,000 square foot Class “A” commercial office, medical and retail property in Orlando, Florida. His responsibilities will include addressing the day-to-day maintenance needs of tenants, maintaining the cleanliness of the grounds, meeting with contractors to keep renovation projects on track and performing regular inspections on all lighting, air conditioning, fire line and safety systems.

Gonzalez brings more than 18 years of diversified experience to his new role. Prior to his eight years working with HoldThyssen, Gonzalez functioned as a Building Engineer for Highwood Properties and handled general maintenance activities for a 15-story residential building in Puerto Rico.

“We were familiar with Danny’s impressive work ethic and knowledge of maintenance protocols, based on his work with the third-party team that managed several of our Orlando assets,” stated JD Brakefield, Jr., CRC’s Director of Property Management – Commercial Division. “Attracting Danny to CRC means Waterford Park tenants will benefit from his full-time attention and experience. He is recognized as a willful mentor to younger employees, which will improve the effectiveness of our entire maintenance team.”

Gonzalez participates in community-oriented events sponsored by Autism Awareness and St. Stephens Catholic Church and volunteers his time with other programs to assist the church and its patrons.
