Continental Realty Corp. Promotes Matt McCoy to Regional Portfolio Manager

Continental Realty Corporation (CRC), a Baltimore-based real estate investment and management company, has announced the promotion of Matt McCoy to Regional Portfolio Manager. McCoy has worked for CRC since 2014 and was formerly Senior Community Manager.

In his new role, McCoy will function as point person for issues related to the daily operations of numerous CRC communities located throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. His responsibilities will include reviewing the performance of critical metrics such as closing ratios and apartment turn times, conducting on-site assessments to improve community aesthetics, providing training and mentoring to team members, providing overall leadership and motivation to the team and adhering to approved budgets.

McCoy began his career with CRC as a Floating Leasing Specialist and quickly progressed into positions with greater responsibilities, including Assistant Community Manager, Community Manager and, most recently, Senior Community Manager. He has more than 13 years of multifamily experience, including work in property management and leasing roles with Berkshire Property Advisors. McCoy earned his Certified Apartment Manager designation from the National Apartment Association.

“Matt has been a tremendous resource to communities inside and outside of his immediate region, has played a role on our due diligence teams and he stepped in to perform Community Manager responsibilities for extended times during takeovers,” said Amy Asuquo, CRC’s Director of Property Management-Multifamily. “We know that his demonstrated flexibility and overall knowledge of our communities and processes will serve him well in this new role. This promotion reflects our great confidence in Matt’s management and leadership abilities.”
