Savings Bank of Danbury Appoints Chad Stewart as First VP and Commercial Team Leader in New Norwalk Branch

The Savings Bank of Danbury has named Chad Stewart as First Vice President and Commercial Team Leader for the Southern CT region. He will lead a team of commercial lenders dedicated to building the deposit and loan portfolio for the Stamford and Norwalk area.

A native of Southington CT Stewart brings 34 years of banking experience to his new position. He was most recently a Senior Vice President and Commercial Team Leader for Connecticut Community Bank based in Westport CT and First Vice President and Team Leader for First Niagara Bank based in Norwalk CT.

Stewart earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Connecticut and is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking. A resident of Fairfield CT he is a member and past president of the Fairfield Rotary Club, President of the Fairfield Rotary Foundation, a loan committee member of Capital for Change and a member of the University of Connecticut Alumni Association.
