Transwestern Real Estate Services (TRS) has hired Chris Coccaro as Executive Vice President in the firm’s Tenant Advisory + Workplace Solutions group.Coccaro will help drive the expansion of Transwestern’s robust occupier advisory practice in greater Washington, D.C., with a focus on suburban Maryland.

Before joining Transwestern, Coccaro was with JLL for 10 years, representing tenants in leasing, acquisitions, dispositions and expansion-related services. He has worked with regional and national organizations including NewPoint Real Estate Capital, Lerch Early Brewer, Northwestern Mutual, and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and advised Pandora Jewelry on its U.S. headquarters.

Coccaro received a bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University and an MBA from the University of Maryland. He has earned “Broker of the Year” and “Deal of the Year” recognitions from the Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Association of Greater Washington, D.C.
A former guest lecturer at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business, Coccaroalso has supported multiple philanthropic organizations in the community, including Make-A-Wish® Mid-Atlantic, LIDO Civic Association’s advisory board and the Catholic Charities 83.33 Society.
