Erik Moore, Partner & Director of Investment Strategy at Moore Wealth, has been elected to The Arc Baltimore’s Board of Directors.
With a background in portfolio management, investment research, and client relationship management, Moore uses his analytical expertise to develop asset allocation strategies and financial plans for clients of Moore Wealth. He is FINRA Series 7 and 66 licensed and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary, and is currently working toward his Certified Financial Planner certification.
“Erik’s analytical skills – which have been integral to his successful work as a volunteer member of the Steering Committee for our Luminaries Young Professionals Group – will be vitally important as The Arc positions itself to address the opportunities and challenges we will encounter in our continued efforts to support people with developmental disabilities in our community,” says Kathleen McNally Durkin, The Arc Baltimore’s Chief Executive Officer.
Moore was elected to The Arc Baltimore Board during the organization’s 2022 Annual Meeting and Awards Ceremony, which also featured the election of new officers and award recognitions for those who have gone above and beyond in their service to The Arc. The organization previously announced that Robbie Thompson, an Assurance Senior Manager for EY, and Chris Schantz, a Program Manager with Northrop Grumman Corporation, were elected to its Board of Directors.
“The hard work and dedication of all of our Board members, our award recipients and nominees, and so many others is the critical component which enables The Arc Baltimore to support people with developmental disabilities to lead fulfilling lives with a sense of belonging, purpose, and meaningful relationships,” Durkin notes.
In addition to The Arc Baltimore, Moore currently sits on the Board for the Maryland Chapter of the Exit Planning Exchange, the Investment Committee for the Community Foundation of Frederick County, as well as the Membership Committee and Young Members Committee for the Center Club in Downtown Baltimore. He and his wife live in Baltimore City’s Canton neighborhood.
