More than 20 of the world’s elite Jai-Alai players will return to The Fronton The Casino @ Dania Beach for the Dania Beach Invitational – 2022-2023 Jai-Alai Tournament. Theinvitation-onlytournament brings top Jai-Alai talent from the Basque region of Spain and France to compete for glory and prize money from December 1, 2022 through January 27, 2023.
Jai-Alai has been dubbedthe fastest moving ball sport in the world by Guinness World Records.
The Dania Beach Invitational -2022-2023 Jai-Alai Tournament will showcase top international Jai-Alai players in the only remaining full-court regulation Jai-Alai fronton in the United States.Players will competein 25 qualifying rounds in December creating a ranking for the quarter-final, semi-final and final rounds in January. The final head-to-head match will take place on Friday, January 27th.
“The success of our Battle at the Palace Jai-Alai tournament last spring signals that there is enduring interest in Jai-Alai and we expect the upcoming winter Jai-Alai invitational to be a major step in securing the sport’s eventual return to Dania Beach,” said Benny Bueno, Jai-Alai Player Manager at The Casino @ Dania Beach.
Admission to the fronton to watch the Jai-Alai tournament will remain free. Fans who wish to wager will have the opportunity to do so in person, as traditional parimutuel betting will be offered.

The tournament will consist of 9 games every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening, and 9 games every Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
