Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance Expands Men’s Pelvic Health Program to Braintree Clinic

Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance, a South Shore practice specializing in unique programs that provide comprehensive treatment in orthopedic, spine and sports medicine specialties, is expanding their Men’s Pelvic Health Program to include their Braintree clinic. Peak also offers the Men’s Pelvic Health Program at their Norwell and Scituate clinics.

Peak has a team of physical therapists who specialize in women’s and men’s pelvic health conditions, and provide non-surgical and non-medicinal options for a number of conditions. The therapists evaluate each patient to identify the source of the problem and then develop an individualized treatment plan. The program offers evaluations and treatments for a variety of conditions including bladder and urinary dysfunction, bowel dysfunction, pelvic pain, prostate cancer rehab, sexual dysfunction, and more.

Donna Chaio, PT, DPT will run the Braintree program. She received her undergraduate degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara and went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Boston University. She has undergone specialized training in pelvic health physical therapy, and has been a teaching assistant for pelvic health courses. She is also a registered yoga teacher.

“We are pleased to be able to expand this important health program to our Braintree clinic,” said Eric Edelman, PT, owner of Peak Physical Therapy & Sports Performance. “Physical Therapy provides us with the tools to effectively relieve discomfort and treat a great many conditions.  The specialized training our team earns allows them to evaluate each patient’s best course of treatment.”
