As an epidemic of addiction grows nationwide taking a devastating toll on our neighborhoods and families, the mission of the Hanley Foundation becomes more vital each day. Community leaders are embracing the Hanley philosophy that the keys to ending addiction are prevention, advocacy, and support during recovery. Jupiter realtor and philanthropist Rob Thomson says being named to the Hanley Foundation Board of Directors is an opportunity to help further the mission,
“For years I have seen firsthand how the Hanley Foundation’s approach to this difficult issue has transformed lives. I am proud to serve alongside other dedicated board members and to work with the extraordinary staff. I look forward to supporting the important work of the Foundation and to sharing with many others how they may also be part of the lifesaving mission,” Rob Thomson said.
Hanley Foundation Board of Directors Chairman Chip James says Rob Thomson is a welcome addition, “Rob has been a fixture in the community for years. He puts his heart into each organization he supports and I know he will have a positive impact serving on the board.”
Hanley Foundation CEO Jan Cairnes believes community leaders like Rob Thomson play a critical role in the growth of nonprofits, “Rob is a successful businessman who understands how important it is for an organization to have growth in both support and impact. To Rob stagnation is not an option. Hanley is dedicated to the health of the individual and, as an organization, we recognize that our own progress leads to even greater success.”
Rob is the owner of the luxury real estate company Waterfront Properties and Club Communities and is co-owner of Waterfront Yacht Brokerage. He is one of the top realtors in America with personal transactions of almost half a billion dollars in 2021. He leads an office of over 90 professions in multiple locations.
