New ownership investing more than $26 million in improvements at luxurious Fort Lauderdale destination
Yacht Haven Park & Marina, a luxury motorcoach and yacht resort in Fort Lauderdale, recently completed numerous luxurious renovations and upgrades. The enhancements position Yacht Haven to become one of the nation’s premier motorcoach and yachting destinations.
Located along the south fork of the New River, Yacht Haven features 222 motorcoach sites, waterfront views and a marina that can accommodate vessels up to 150’. The 20-acre plus site was purchased in 2021 by Gary Cioffi and Christopher Hein.

Today, the RV lots have been consolidated from 265 to 222 sites, where now all lots can accommodate up to 40’ Class A luxury motorcoaches. With the consolidation, there are six types of luxury RV sites for guests to choose from: (1) Royal Point Waterfront, (2) Grand Waterfront, (3) Waterfront Premium, (4) Waterfront, (5) Garden View Premium, and (6) Garden View. Each RV site has been updated with landscaping, synthetic lawns, driveway pavers, new patio areas, fiber optic Wi-Fi and new utility hookups.
The Yacht Haven Marina can accommodate vessels up to 150’ in length – larger boat slips that are rare and in high demand – with worry-free docking and convenient access to Fort Lauderdale’s Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean. Dockage includes full hookups, and all vessels, crews and guests are supported by the exceptional service of Yacht Haven’s private marina team. Marina slips can be booked daily, weekly or monthly.
In addition, the Yacht Haven location is considered a hurricane hole marina approved by marine insurance companies.
Completed improvements include a resort style heated pool with tiki huts, children’s play area, dog park, two climate-controlled shower facilities, climate-controlled laundry facility, climate-controlled gym facility, kayak, paddleboard, and pontoon boat rentals plus boat charters on a 35’ Special Edition Statement Center Console and more.
Future plans include a new state-of-the art 6,000 sq. ft clubhouse, 6,000 sq. ft rooftop lounge overlooking the RV resort, pool and the New River. In addition, a new 10,000 sq. ft pool and sundeck area, pickle ball and basketball courts, new state-of-the art fitness center with locker rooms, new guest mail room center, new sundries store, and golf cart, scooter, and bicycle rentals.
Work will begin on these future amenities in mid-2023 – following the conclusion of the 2022-2023 high season at the resort.
Located minutes from Fort Lauderdale International Airport, Yacht Haven is ideally positioned near downtown Fort Lauderdale and countless dining and entertainment options, like the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Hard Rock Stadium, Broward Center for the Performing Arts and Las Olas shopping and dining district.
