Miller Construction, a statewide, privately-held construction firm, announces the addition of Jesse Newton as Director of Business Development in the firm’s Central Florida office. Newton will be vital to the firm’s growth in the area as he has an extensive sales and marketing background in the construction and hospitality industries.
“Jesse’s track record in creating and managing revenue-generating business development strategies will be extremely valuable to our Miller team,” said Miller Construction President Brian Sudduth. “We know that his experience and community involvement will facilitate our continued expansion throughout Florida.”
As part of his responsibilities for past employers in the construction industry, Newton managed sales and marketing teams, as well as the end-to-end preconstruction process.

Newton earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Management, and Operations, as well as a Master of Science in Hospitality & Tourism Management from the University of Central Florida. He was nominated for Orlando’s Top 40 Under 40 in the Orlando Business Journal, and is an active volunteer with Wounded Warrior Project, the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Pediatric Cancer Foundation.
