McCarthy has been elevated from Counsel to Partner in the firm’s Accidents/Personal Injury Practice and Kristi L. Terranova has been elevated from Counsel to Partner in the firm’s Family/Matrimonial Practice.

Since joining Einhorn Barbarito in 2014, McCarthy has successfully represented injured clients through trial and provided integral assistance in reaching several of the highest reported settlements in New Jersey in 2020 and 2021. She handles all aspects of her clients’ cases and has presented oral arguments in both state and federal courts, as well as the state appellate and Supreme Court. McCarthy has been selected to the New Jersey Rising Stars list, published by Super Lawyers and Thomson Reuters, from 2017-2022. “Christine’s passion for counseling clients and negotiating settlements, along with establishing personal relationships with her attorney counterparts, play large roles in obtaining favorable results for her clients,” added Musmanno.
McCarthy is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, New Jersey Association for Justice, and the Morris County Bar Association. She also serves as an advisory board member for the Law and Public Safety Class at Sussex County Technical School. McCarthy earned her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law and her B.A., summa cum laude, from Ramapo College of New Jersey.
Terranova has practiced at Einhorn Barbarito for nearly seven years, with a practice focused on matrimonial and family law. She has both trial court and appellate experience representing clients in a broad range of issues related to matrimonial litigation, relocation, spousal and child support, college contribution, domestic violence issues, emancipation, grandparent’s rights, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, asset valuation and protection and post-judgment modifications to custody and support. Terranova was selected to the New Jersey Rising Stars list, published by Super Lawyers and Thomson Reuters, from 2015-2021. “One of Kristi’s strengths is her ability to translate knowledge into insights and strategies tailored to the specific case and needs of her clients,” added Nunn.
Additionally, Terranova is active within the New Jersey legal community. She was appointed to the District Fee Arbitration Committee of the Office of Attorney Ethics for the Supreme Court of New Jersey and is a member of the BNI Business Exchange, New Jersey State Bar Association, Passaic County Bar Association, Morris County Bar Association, New Jersey Women Lawyers’ Association, and Partners for Women and Justice’s Junior Advisory Board. She also serves as the attorney advisor for the Boonton High School mock trial club. Terranova earned her J.D. from Widener University School of Law and her B.A. from Gettysburg College.
