Rembrand, a Los Altos, CA-based provider of an AI product placement platform that embeds photo-realistic products into digital videos, raised $8M in Seed funding.
The round was led by Greycroft and UTA.VC.
The company intends to use the funds to support its beta launch.
Led by CEO Omar Tawakol, Rembrand provides a programmatic platform for AI-generated product placement in digital video. The company uses AI to automate the placement of high-quality virtual products into video assets for the universe of online creators that dominate today’s consumer viewing habits. With Rembrand, any video asset can be seamlessly enhanced with AI generated products that match the scene. This allows viewers to enjoy uninterrupted videos, while brands have the opportunity to be part of the story rather than an interruption.
The beta platform opened up on February 6, 2023 with leading influencers already onboard.
The founding team at Rembrand include:
