Grille 151, an upscale yet comfortable American restaurant specializing in seafood, beef, and comfort foods, and the Rotary Club of Weymouth are proud to announce their support of Father Bill’s and Mainspring.
The Rotary Club of Weymouth has a long history with Father Bill’s & MainSpring, with involvement of the organization going back more than 20 years. “We’ve had a history of very hands-on involvement with Father Bill’s,” said Donna Foster, president of the Rotary Club of Weymouth and real estate agent with Tullish & Clancy Real Estate, also in Weymouth. The Rotary Club of Weymouth has sponsored several food fests and organized toiletry drives and towel drives over the many years.
“The whole club is very passionate about Father Bill’s and all of their programs. They serve more than 30 communities, and they believe in housing first, but offer so much more than that,” Foster added.
Father Bill’s & MainSpring’s vision is “to end and prevent homelessness in southern Massachusetts with programs that provide emergency and permanent housing and help people obtain skills, jobs, housing, and services.”
The Rotary Club of Weymouth used to provide a monthly meal in which members would shop for the food as well as prepare and serve the food. The pandemic halted that 20-year practice, but Father Bill’s was later able to accept restaurant-prepared meals. This provided the opportunity for Chris DiMambro, managing partner at Grille 151 and Weymouth Rotarian, to suggest his restaurant could prepare the meals. “With Grille 151 able to prepare the meals, and our organization covering the food costs, this has made it possible for us to stay involved and still help Father Bill’s, especially when help was urgently needed,” continued Foster.
“As a member of the Rotary Club of Weymouth, our organization’s support of Father Bill’s has been incredibly meaningful and important to all of us,” added DiMambro. “We’re so proud that Grille 151 can contribute in this way toward the mission of Father Bill’s as well.”
