Foley Hoag LLP announced today that Karen Campbell has joined the firm as its inaugural Chief Information Officer.
Campbell joins Foley Hoag after more than two decades in information technology, including most recently as Director of Global IT Operations at an Am Law 200 firm. Campbell earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Long Island University and an M.B.A. degree in Business Management from Dowling College.
As CIO, Campbell is responsible for creating an IT strategy that drives Foley Hoag’s operations, competitiveness and innovation. A key member of the firm’s leadership team, Campbell will focus on maintaining a leading edge IT infrastructure and leveraging emerging technologies to maximize efficiencies firm wide.

Resident in the New York office, Campbell’s arrival expands Foley Hoag’s executive team and adds to its significant expansion in New York City. Other recent C-suite hires in New York include Chief Financial Officer Anton Levchik, who joined the firm in March 2023, and Chief Operating Officer Diane Scheffler, who assumed her role in October 2022. In the past two years, over 40 attorneys have joined Foley Hoag in New York, reinforcing the firm’s commitment to growth there.
