The Highlands School, a K-8 independent school that serves students with learning differences and achievement gaps, will now offer free reading and math kindergarten readiness screenings to area preschools and learning centers.
Provided by The Highlands School’s testing experts, these screenings help determine if students are ready to thrive in kindergarten by evaluating their strengths and weaknesses in math and reading. During the screenings, testing experts visit the preschool or learning center and test children as requested by their parents.
“Our free reading and math kindergarten readiness screenings have already been a huge hit at preschools and learning centers across Harford and Baltimore County!” said Head of School Claudia Nachtigal. “We look forward to expanding this service and connecting with more area preschools and learning centers. These screenings provide critical information to help parents prepare accordingly for their students entering kindergarten.”
Interested preschools and learning centers can call 410-836-1415 for more information.
