WPM Real Estate Management is pleased to announce that Jennifer Torres has expanded her role within the company to serve as Regional Director of Business Development for WPM’s Maryland and Pennsylvania regions. Torres is well-positioned to expand and grow WPM’s portfolio in this geography, given her experience and working knowledge of the multifamily industry in this region. She will retain her responsibility for an active portfolio of properties in Pennsylvania, leading a team of 18 associates and managing the operations for these communities.
“Jennifer has been instrumental in growing our footprint in Pennsylvania,” notes Melissa Gambuto, President of WPM Multifamily Real Estate. “She has spent significant time learning the market, understanding regional requirements, and building strong relationships with clients, investors, and the broader business community. We’re excited to have her lead our business development in the region and bring WPM’s ownership-thinking approach to property management to more investors and owners in the region.”
Torres began her career as a Resident Service Manager with EDR Trust and was recruited by Asset Campus Housing and Campus Apartments to serve as a Property Manager. In 2014, she was awarded Property Manager of the Year by her local National Apartment Association (NAA) affiliate and obtained her CAM (Certified Apartment Manager) designation. A strong believer in professional development and continual learning, Torres is a candidate for the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM(r)). She remains active as a member of the Regional Advisory Council for the Pennsylvania Apartment Association-Central, WPM’s Service Committee, and is graduate of WPM’s Future Leaders in Training for Excellence (FLITE) program.
