DGS Retail, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of décor, signage, fixtures, displays and other products to customers in the grocery, retail, foodservice and consumer brand end markets, acquired Rich, an Oceanside, CA-based designer and manufacturer of customizable point-of-purchase displays and retail store fixtures.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
With the acquisition, DGS will enhance its overall design, manufacturing and procurement capabilities, and both businesses will benefit from enhanced sales and marketing efforts and geographic diversification.
Led by President Jim Hollen, Rich is a designer and manufacturer of customizable point-of-purchase displays and retail store fixtures, and provides full-store buildout merchandising solutions for specialty retailers and brands.
Led by Peter Stevens, CEO, DGS has operations spanning over 400,000 square feet across six facilities in Massachusetts, Florida, Illinois, Wisconsin and California. The company is in the portfolio of San Francisco Equity Partners.
