Full- and Part-Time Positions Will Support People with Developmental Disabilities
The Arc Baltimore will hold a hire-on-the-spot Job Fair on Thursday, September 14, 4-7 pm, at its headquarters, 7215 York Road in Towson, MD. Parking is available in the rear of the building, off Stevenson Lane.
“The Arc Baltimore is looking for passionate and compassionate people to join its staff and support people with developmental disabilities to lead fulfilling lives,” says The Arc Baltimore’s Chief Executive Officer, Kathleen McNally Durkin.
Durkin notes that The Arc Baltimore currently has full- and part-time positions available in a wide range of areas, from direct support professionals supporting people with disabilities at home and at work to administrative positions, case managers, and program directors. All direct support professional positions pay a minimum hourly rate of $17.50.
“While the people The Arc supports are more active in the community than ever before – living in area neighborhoods, going to work, paying their bills, and going out with friends – they still need the support our professionals provide,” Durkin explains. “If you’re an innovative leader who cares about helping others, your career path may be leading you to The Arc Baltimore.”
