She Builds is once again amplifying the work of Rebuilding Together NYC (RTNYC) for the seventh year, revitalizing the Claremont Consolidate Community in the Bronx on Tuesday, November 14.
“Blossom & Revive: Claremont Consolidate Community Renewal” is bringing together real estate industry leaders from across New York City to give back and enact change. Participants will help restore and improve six sites throughout the Claremont Community by repainting playgrounds, planting flowers throughout the area, fixing equipment, and more with a goal to uplift and revitalize the neighborhood, fostering a sense of pride and unity among its residents.
“We look forward to helping revive the community spaces throughout the Claremont neighborhood, creating welcoming and vibrant environments where families can come together and experience a renewed sense of joy,” said She Builds Committee co-chair Laurie A. Grasso, co-chair of Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP’s global real estate practice. She Builds Committee co-chair Laura Jackson, SL Green Realty Corp. senior vice president, added: “Our project seeks to mobilize the real estate community, encouraging active involvement in enhancing public health and addressing some of the inequalities present within our city.”
