Jaguar Bolera “Eatertainment” Concept Coming to Atlanta’s High Street

New social destination expected to open Winter 2024 in Atlanta’s Central Perimeter

Visionary restaurant and hospitality entrepreneur, Robert Thompson, announced today that his highly anticipated new “Eatertainment” concept, Jaguar Bolera, will open at the transformative High Street project in Atlanta’s Perimeter developed by leading real estate investment and management firm, GID.

A culinary program featuring wood-fired cooking techniques that marry cuisines from the American South and Mexico pairs with an inventive bar program and social activities to establish Jaguar Bolera as a next-generation “eatertainment” destination that will offer varied settings for large parties, gatherings of friends and intimate get-togethers.

“At Jaguar Bolera, we create the space and opportunity for people to connect with a beverage in their hand while freely moving through the space at their leisure – not tethered to a table. Modern consumers prefer this type of DIY experience freedom,” said Robert Thompson, founder and CEO of Jaguar Bolera. “As a city frequently recognized among top choices for young professionals, Atlanta is a perfect fit for Jaguar Bolera. In particular, High Street and the design vision caters to the Jaguar Bolera guest – those who are looking for experiential socialization more often than sitting across from each other at a four-top table.”

“Our vision for High Street is to create a one-of-a-kind ‘town square’ for the community, filled with high-quality operators committed to delivering unique experiences,” said James Linsley, president of GID Development. “With its innovative approach to entertainment, Jaguar Bolera represents an excellent complement to our retail mix, and we are thrilled to welcome this animated new concept to High Street.”

Jaguar Bolera will include 21,500 square feet of food, beverage, and entertainment space. In addition to activities like duckpin bowling, foosball, darts, board games and karaoke in private rooms, Jaguar Bolera will offer a widely varied “maker-tainment” program where guests can purchase a DIY kit or participate in a live class where they will make crafts including “naughty needlepoint,” leatherworking, hammered jewelry and more, all while enjoying a craft beverage from one of the 72 self-pour taps and a bite to eat from food hall-style counters.

A 25-year industry veteran, Robert Thompson is most well-known for founding the award-winning, 20-unit “eatertainment” concept, Punch Bowl Social, which opened its first location in 2012 and landed on Fast Company’s Top 50 Most Innovative Companies in the World list in 2019. His hospitality firm, Angevin & Co owns The Frenchmen Hotel and the bar Tiki Tock in New Orleans, as well as tapas and tap-wine bar Three Saints Revival in Denver. The innovative leader also will debut the highly anticipated national pickleball focused concept, Camp Pickle, in 2024.

High Street is a new destination for Atlanta’s Perimeter, with the dynamic, 36-acre mixed-use development featuring residential, retail and office space in the bustling, geographic center of Metro Atlanta. Its first phase encompasses 150,000 square feet of retail, 90,000 square feet of new loft office, 598 apartments and a variety of community gathering spaces, including a signature park that will host a multitude of events each year, as well as a seasonal ice-skating rink.

Jaguar Bolera will open at High Street in Winter 2024 with an additional location planned for Raleigh. To learn more about Jaguar Bolera, follow @jaguarbolera on Facebook and Instagram for the latest developments.
