Shutts & Bowen Adds Five New Partners

Jenny B. Gribbin is a Partner in the Tampa office where she is a member of the Real Estate Practice Group. Gribbin has more than 15 years of experience representing clients in matters involving the acquisition, development, leasing, and disposition of real estate; title and survey; commercial contracts, and other transactional matters involving real property.

Douglass E. Myers III is a Partner in the Jacksonville office where he is a member of the Real Estate Practice Group. His practice is focused on commercial and corporate real estate, land use, and sustainability. He has broad experience representing large and global corporate clients in a variety of real estate, general business, and technology-related matters. Myers is well versed in lease restructurings and complex negotiations.

Vincent F. Alexander is a Partner in the Fort Lauderdale office where he is a member of the Creditors’ Rights and Bankruptcy Practice Group. Alexander is an experienced restructuring lawyer, litigator, and trial attorney. He focuses his practice on bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, out-of-court restructurings, distressed asset sales, and insolvency related matters. He regularly represents debtors, creditors, equity holders, trustees and other fiduciaries, individuals, businesses, and unsecured creditors’ committees in chapter 7, 11, and 15 bankruptcy proceedings and related litigation, including avoidance actions and claim disputes.

Denise M. Harle is a Partner in the Tallahassee office where she is a member of the Appellate Practice Group. She focuses her practice on administrative, commercial, constitutional, and appellate litigation. Harle has experience determining appeal strategy, briefing, and oral argument in high-profile cases in state and federal appellate courts involving constitutional questions and critical questions of statutory interpretation.

Sarah J. Harnden is a partner in the Sarasota office where she is a member of the Private Client Services Practice Group. Harnden focuses her practice on trusts and estates, with an emphasis on analytical estate planning and administration. Her experience includes the representation of clients in matters related to wills, trusts, power of attorney, planned giving, estate and death tax planning, beneficiary agreements, irrevocable trusts, as well as all aspects of the probate process.
