MDH Partners and Parkside Partners announce five new leases at Oakhurst Commons, a dynamic 135,000-square-foot mixed-use campus in Charlotte’s Oakhurst neighborhood. Recent deals include several office leases, a popular fast-casual restaurant and health and wellness offerings.
“We are excited about the leasing activity at Oakhurst Commons as office, food and beverage and retail tenants have shown a great deal of interest in being a part of the project,” said Eli Green, Principal at Parkside Partners. “We offer a true mixed-use environment, with abundant amenities, a prime location and ample parking.”
Physical trainer and entrepreneur Addy Collett will debut her highly anticipated The Health Club at the mixed-use destination. The 15,000-square-foot, first-of-its-kind fitness facility will feature an open gym, locker rooms, steam room, dry sauna, cold plunge, hot tub, pilates classroom and a bootcamp classroom. Collett, the expert behind The Health Club, selected Oakhurst Commons as her flagship location.
“Looking to level up the Charlotte fitness scene, The Health Club will open its first location at Oakhurst Commons this winter,” said Collett. “The Club hopes to bring Charlotte an all-in-one fitness experience that inspires the community to live healthy, happy and fit lives.”
Additional tenants joining Oakhurst Commons include the following:
- InReach, a non-profit focused on providing housing, jobs and community support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Charlotte, leased 9,000 square feet in Building 4.
- Global consulting firm Procure4 leased 3,000 square feet in Building 5.
- Fast-casual Greek eatery Ilios Crafted Greek will open its fourth Charlotte-area location in Building 5. The 2,400-square-foot restaurant will include a large patio area and is targeting an opening in the Fall of this year.
- Local design firm Urbanik Interiors leased a 1,500 square foot spec suite in Building 2. The award-winning firm focuses on multifamily and hospitality interiors.
Oakhurst Commons is also home to non-profit HopeWay Foundation, which will soon open a nearly 20,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility at Oakhurst Commons, expanding access to its mental health treatment services for teens and young adults. Additionally, modern massage studio MoodHouse’s second Charlotte location is scheduled to open on-site this Spring.
The mixed-use campus is approximately 50% leased, with office, spec suites, prime restaurant and retail space still available. Leasing is led by Thrift Commercial Real Estate Services, with Alex Mann and Stephen Woodard overseeing office space and Charles Thrift and Thompson Brock handling retail leasing.
