Traditional and fusion tacos are sure to delight foodies
terra alma is pleased to announce that Let’s Taco Bout It, a popular Atlanta-based food truck known for its eclectic mix of traditional and fusion tacos, is joining Chamblee Tap & Market as a new food vendor. Since its inception in 2016, Let’s Taco Bout It has delighted Atlantans with a menu that creatively combines flavors from around the world. This new venture marks a significant expansion from its mobile beginnings to a permanent spot in one of the city’s up-and-coming food halls.
“After years on wheels, finding a home at Chamblee Tap & Market is a perfect fit. It’s a vibrant spot that aligns with our adventurous spirit and commitment to quality,” said Jace Whitsey, founder of Let’s Taco Bout It. “We’re excited to introduce our guests to new tacos from different countries, starting with our Greek taco that’s already a hit.”
Designed by Vickers Design Group, Chamblee Tap & Market blends modern aesthetics with a casual ambiance. The micro food hall will feature three unique food stalls: Let’s Taco Bout It, Southern Grace and another concept soon to be announced. Complementing these eateries, Sidecar Coffee will serve as a charming coffee shop, while an adjoining taproom with 20 taps offers a thoughtfully selected array of beers and wines.
“From the beginning, my partner Jeff Kimmeland I were committed to bringing unique culinary experiences to Chamblee to complement our bar offerings,” said David Heymann of Chamblee Tap & Market. “Let’s Taco Bout It, with its dynamic approach to Mexican fusion cuisine, is exactly what we envisioned. We’re thrilled to have them join our family of food stalls and believe they will be a big draw for our customers.”
Chamblee Tap & Market partnered with commercial real estate broker terra alma to curate the food hall. Founder Edie Weintraub comments, “Seeing Let’s Taco Bout It expand into Chamblee Tap & Market reflects the vibrant culinary diversity that Terra alma loves to support. This venture is not just about great food; it’s about enriching the community and bringing people together through unique dining experiences.”
Chamblee Tap & Market’s micro food hall is set to become a hotspot in historic downtown Chamblee. Owners David Heymann and Jeff Kimmel aim to create an oasis for beer, wine and food enthusiasts.
A public opening is scheduled for later this year, with exact dates to be announced as the team finalizes the space to ensure a grand opening that matches their high standards of service and community engagement.
Located next to City Hall and the soon-to-be-built Chamblee Town Center, Chamblee Tap & Market will serve as a vibrant hub where community, cuisineand culture converge. Open seven days a week and featuring a private event space for special occasions, this micro food hall is set to transform the downtown area. As part of the city’s initiative to enhance the pedestrian-friendly nature of Broad Street, Chamblee Tap & Market promises to reshape the landscape and become a dynamic destination for locals and visitors alike.
