Alper JCC & Casa Familia Partner to Host Familia Field Day

Alper JCC Miami and Casa Familia’s Young Professional Board (YPB) are excited to announce their partnership for the upcoming Familia Field Day being held May 5th from 11 am to 2 pm. This family-friendly extravaganza will take place at the Alper JCC located at 11155 SW 112 Avenue, promising a fun-filled day of inclusive outdoor activities, food trucks and much more.

Familia Field Day is designed to bring together families and individuals within the special needs community for a day of entertainment, connection and awareness. The event serves as an interactive platform for participants of all ages and abilities, to showcase both the invaluable resources provided by the Alper JCC’s Tikvah Program, and the instrumental advocacy efforts of Casa Familia for supportive housing in South Florida, while also extending their reach to a broader audience.

“We are excited to collaborate with Casa Familia to host Familia Field Day, a celebration of inclusion, community and support,” said Nicole Miller, Director of Special Needs Programming for the Alper JCC, and a YPB Board Member “This event not only provides a fantastic opportunity for families to come together and enjoy a day of festivities but also allows us to showcase the wonderful programs and services available to individuals with special needs in our community.”

In addition to fostering connections and spreading awareness, Familia Field Day aims to provide a memorable and enjoyable experience for the entire family, reinforcing the importance of community and togetherness.
