Boston-based Undergraduation.com Wins On-campus Round for Prestigious 2024 Hult Prize

‘The Nobel Prize for Students’ selects innovative and educational online platform giving high school students direct access to college students

Undergraduation.com CEO and Founder Agrim Mithal, along with Chief Sales Officer Spencer Park, are honored to announce that Undergraduation.com is the proud recipient of the 2024 Hult Prize on-campus round.

The Hult Prize is an annual competition for ideas solving pressing social issues, such as food security, water access, energy, and education. Winners receive $1,000,000 and access to a global network of mentors, investors, and resources to help scale their ventures and maximize their impact.

Named after Bertil Hult, the prize is awarded to college students immersing themselves in social entrepreneurship initiatives and is often referred to as the “Nobel Prize for students.”

“We are incredibly honored and humbled to receive the Hult Prize, which serves as validation of our vision, and will help accelerate our current fundraising plans,” said Agrim Mithal, Founder and CEO of Undergraduation.com. “This prestigious recognition will further fuel our efforts to democratize access between high school and college students, giving them direct access and information while deciding which college to attend.”

Undergraduation.com is the first-ever peer-to-peer guidance platform aiming to provide personalized accessible guidance to high schoolers amidst the college application process. Additionally, Undergraduation.com provides college students with job opportunities, high school guidance counselors a catalyst for balancing the national 470:1 student-to-counselor ratio, and colleges a way to increase their enrollment.

“Undergraduation.com stood out among a highly competitive pool of applicants for its innovative approach to addressing the challenges for high school students as they decide where they would like to continue their education, Impact-wise, I think the education inequality came out very clear, the business model was clear, they had a clear revenue model, it’s scaleable, and the cost to start is low,” said Frank Dike, Managing Director at State Street. “We are excited to see what the future holds for the platform and its team.”
