UHY LLP and UHY Advisors Mid-Atlantic MD, Inc. announced the promotion of eight employees, including Natasha Perkins, who was promoted to principal, and Joe Daugherty, who was promoted to accounting senior manager.

Ms. Perkins specializes in audits and tax planning for clients in the not-for-profit sector. She has nearly 35 years of professional accounting experience, including 10 years of public accounting experience with Big 4 firms, primarily working with not-for-profit clients. Additionally, she worked for five years with national public charity organizations, serving in roles including Controller and Manager of Reporting. She also has extensive experience conducting audits of employee benefit plans. Ms. Perkins is a licensed CPA in Virginia. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting and Bachelor of Arts, Political Science and Government from American University.
Mr. Daugherty is a member of the McLean office’s Tax Department and has over eight years of public accounting experience. Joe has extensive tax preparation and planning experience working with high net-worth individuals, trusts, estates, and small businesses, including S Corporations and LLCs. He also specializes in international tax issues for individuals and provides accounting services to small businesses. Mr. Daugherty is a licensed CPA in Virginia. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Gordon College in Massachusetts.
