Arc Broward named four new members to serve on its board of directors. The announcement was made by Board Chair Michael Wild.
“We are fortunate to have so many community leaders who are passionate about the work Arc Broward does for families and individuals with developmental disabilities and other life challenges,” said Wild. “We welcome our newest board members and look forward to working together to advance Arc Broward’s mission to provide transformative opportunities to live, learn, work and play in a community that is accepting and inclusive.”
Chad Clark of Davie, is a longstanding member of Arc Broward’s Business Advisory Council and will serve as the Council’s co-chair. In 2023, he was awarded volunteer of the year at the organization’s inaugural InspHIRED luncheon in recognition of the countless hours he devotes to teaching and mentoring Arc Works participants. Clark is an agent/broker for Risk Strategies, with expertise in managing multimillion-dollar claims settlements and products. He holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University.
Natalie Glusman of Fort Lauderdale, who served as chair of the recent Miss Arc Broward Pageant, is a realtor associate with DeBianchi Real Estate. Natalie will also serve on the Audit & Finance committee. With 10 years of experience in the finance sector, Natalie brings to her board position a strong background in credit and treasury management and a keen understanding of financial markets, risk assessment, and investment strategies. She holds an MBA from Avila University and a bachelor’s from the University of Kansas.
Elizabeth Pedersen of Fort Lauderdale, an attorney with Panza Maurer, is a longtime supporter of Arc Broward, having served on this year’s Miss Arc Broward Pageant committee. She practices civil, administrative, and regulatory litigation with an emphasis on hospital, hospice, and nursing home development, change of ownership and trauma center litigation proceedings before the Agency for Health Care Administration. She also practices in the areas of healthcare licensure, regulatory compliance, commercial litigation, insurance defense matters and representation of educational and health care institutions. A member of Leadership Broward Class XXXVI, Pederson earned a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and a bachelor’s from Tulane University.
Kathy Salerno of Fort Lauderdale, is the executive director of community relations for Broward Health, where she manages corporate sponsorships and coordinates initiatives with local nonprofits, government agencies, business leaders, and Broward Health’s leadership. Salerno is actively involved in with community organizations and is a graduate of Leadership Florida Connect Class 12, Leadership Broward Class XXXVIII and Leadership Fort Lauderdale Class XXV. She was recognized as one of the top 30 under 30 in politics by the News Service of Florida, 40 under 40 by South Florida Business Journal, and DEI Advocate in Health by South Florida Business and Wealth. Salerno holds an MBA from Florida International University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Florida.
