Cities Where People Overspend the Most on Cars in 2024 – WalletHub Study

With American auto loan debt totaling $1.63 trillion, the personal-finance website WalletHub today released its report on the Cities Where People Overspend the Most on Cars in 2024 in order to see where people are taking on the most auto loan debt relative to their income.

WalletHub compared the median auto-loan balance and income in more than 2,500 U.S. cities and ranked the cities based on their debt-to-income ratios.
