Emtech Receives Investment From Accenture Ventures

Emtech, a NYC-based financial technology company that provides software-as-a-service platforms, received an investment from Accenture Ventures.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

The company intends to use the funds to support its efforts to transform central banks’ financial and technology infrastructure helping central banks to regulate and supervise fintechs in an increasingly digital economy.

Led by CEO Carmelle Cadet, Emtech provides software, data and services that connect central banks to other regulators and financial services providers. Its platforms power regulatory data exchange, compliance, supervision, currency issuance and currency movement in financial markets.

EMTECH will also join Accenture Ventures’ Project Spotlight, an engagement and investment program for startup companies that create or apply disruptive enterprise technologies.
