Soleo Health Names Jason Weems Chief Information Officer

FRISCO, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Soleo Health, an innovative leader and national provider of complex specialty pharmacy services, announced today the appointment of Jason Weems to the newly created Chief Information Officer (CIO) position. 

In his role as CIO, Weems will head Soleo Health’s technology and digital strategy, focusing on enhancing experiences for patients, providers, payors, manufacturers and employees. He will oversee initiatives aimed at integrating innovative technology solutions for optimizing patient and provider engagement while concurrently improving service delivery across the organization.

A seasoned technology leader, Weems brings more than 25 years of healthcare information technology (HIT) experience to his new role. His expertise over the past decade spans senior leadership roles at Cigna and Evernorth, where he led technology innovation efforts across various patient care and pharmacy business segments. During his tenure, Weems championed a digital-first engagement strategy for both virtual and onsite care, streamlining patient experiences across the healthcare spectrum. In addition, Weems previously held senior leadership positions at Express Scripts and Citi, where he developed and executed strategies that drove technology-driven improvements across complex care environments.
