BooneOakley Says Vote With Your Gear Shift

Independent advertising and marketing agency BooneOakley has been tasked by client Blue Wave Bosses in New Bern, N.C. to create a call to Americans to ‘vote with your gear shift’, according to President and Creative Director of the agency, David Oakley.

Oakley explains,  “It’s not every day that you look down at the gear shift in your car and a big idea hits you. But that’s exactly what happened when I put my car in reverse and the R lit up in red. Wow, R for Reverse. R for Republican. Then I put the car in drive and realized the D in Drive could signify D for Democrat.”

“Six days later we were shooting this video in our garage as Hurricane Helene made its way through Charlotte. And now we are offering the video to Democrats across the country to get the message out before November 5th.”

“We were contacted in August by a concerned group of Democrats from New Bern, N.C. who asked us if we could help with messaging in Craven County. And now this campaign literally is Moving Forward!” Oakley adds.
