From the MLS to the English Premier League to the Champions League to International Competition and more, Landon and Tim will share their hot takes, analysis, unique insights, and classic stories to bring fans closer to the game.
As a multi-platform program, “Unfiltered Soccer with Landon Donovan and Tim Howard” will air on all Apple Podcasts, Spotify and all podcast platforms, with long-form video content on YouTube, and short-form content cutdowns living across talent, show, and Sinclair social channels.

LANDON DONOVAN
Landon Donovan is considered one of the greatest U.S. soccer players in history. He co-founded and served as president of San Diego Loyal’s USL Team. In 2024, Donovan became the interim head coach of the San Diego Wave. He also served as a broadcaster during both the 2016 World Cup with Copa America Centenario and with FOX in the 2022 World Cup. Landon was also the lead analyst for FOX for their EURO 2024 coverage.
Donovan’s decorated and celebrated career as an American soccer icon featured three FIFA World Cup appearances as a player for the U.S. and countless memorable goals. He retired from the game in 2018 tied for the title of all-time leading scorer in USMNT history with 57 goals. He is the only American player to surpass both 50 goals and 50 assists in his career and was the fastest American to earn 100 caps. His individual awards include the only American to win the Golden Ball Award, FIFA’s Best Young Player of the World Cup in 2002, the CONCACAF Gold Cup MVP in 2013, the Gold Cup Best XI four times, and U.S. Soccer Athlete of the Year a record four times.
His club career highlights included stints at Bayer Leverkusen (Bundesliga), Everton (Premier League) and Club León (Liga MX), but he found his greatest success at home in Major League Soccer. Donovan made a splash from 2001 to 2003 with the San Jose Earthquakes, but his play with the LA Galaxy made him a club legend. Over 247 appearances with the Galaxy, he netted 112 goals and led the team to four MLS Cups, two Supporters Shields, and the 2005 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup. In recognition of his contributions to the league and soccer in the U.S., MLS renamed its Most Valuable Player award after him in 2015. In May 2023, Donovan was inducted into the National Soccer Hall of Fame.
TIM HOWARD
Tim Howard is an American soccer legend. He has the most caps and wins of any goalkeeper in US Soccer history and played in three World Cups, holding the record for most saves by any goalkeeper in a single game in World Cup history. Tim also played 13 seasons in the English Premier League, including three at famed Manchester United, followed by a decade at Everton. During that time, he won an FA Cup title, was named the Premier League Goalkeeper of the Year, and became one of the most beloved players in Everton history. Tim is also the first USA ambassador for Everton Football Club. Tim started his career in MLS with the New York Metrostars and returned to MLS in 2016 with the Colorado Rapids. Retiring from soccer at the end of the 2019 MLS Season, his career in the league was filled with honors including being named a MLS All-Star, All-League, and Humanitarian of the Year.
Tim was diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome at a young age and has volunteered countless hours to the advocacy of Tourette-related disorders. He continues to be a role model off the field with his philanthropic work through his own foundation. Tim published an autobiography, The Keeper: A Life of Saving Goals and Achieving Them, chronicling his career and life with Tourette Syndrome and OCD.
Tim is also a full-time studio analyst for NBC Sports and their English Premier League broadcast. He also is part of the ownership group of Houston Dynamo and Houston Dash. In 2024, Tim was inducted in the National Soccer Hall of Fame.
