BetHog, a NYC-based cryptocurrency casino and sportsbook, raised $6M in Seed funding.
The round was led by 6MV with participation from Will Ventures, Bullpen Capital, Karatage, Advancit Capital, and angel investors including Chris Grove, Partner Emeritus at Eilers & Krejcik, LLC and Josh Hannah, co-founder of Flutter Entertainment.
The company intends to use the funds to prioritize investment in product development while scaling the business via selective marketing channels and strategic partnerships.
Founded by Nigel Eccles and Rob Jones, BetHog is a new crypto casino and sportsbook developed by the creators of FanDuel. It includes exclusive casino and skill games including HODL (Crash for meme coins), Thermonuclear Boars (Mines) and Liar’s Dice. Consumers will also have the opportunity to enjoy online casino and sports betting by cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, USDT, and more, in the future.
BetHog is now available globally with a number of jurisdictional restrictions (including USA and UK).
