Subaru of Pembroke Pines Names Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital and Humane Society of Broward County as 2024 Share the Love Event Hometown Charities

Subaru of Pembroke Pines has announced Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital and the Humane Society of Broward County as its hometown charities for the 2024 Subaru Share the Love® Event. Subaru of Pembroke Pines is proud to once again support both organizations that have served as hometown charities for consecutive years and remain community partners for a number of charitable initiatives.

Between Nov. 21, 2024, and Jan. 2, 2025, customers who purchase or lease a new Subaru vehicle can choose to have a $300 donation made to either Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, the Humane Society of Broward County, or one of four national charities partnering with Subaru of America, Inc. and Subaru of Pembroke Pines. Every year, Subaru of Pembroke Pines owner and operator Craig Zinn of the Craig Zinn Automotive Group matches the amount raised by the campaign.

As one of the largest donors to the Subaru Share the Love program in the nation, Subaru of Pembroke Pines has donated over $1.6 million to the local community. Recognizing the diverse needs of the community in its backyard, Subaru of Pembroke Pines actively supports several local initiatives year-round. Since 2018, Subaru of Pembroke Pines has donated more than $1.1 million to Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, including establishing a $500,000 Animal Assisted Therapy endowment. Since 2021, Subaru of Pembroke Pines has donated more than $81,700 to the Humane Society of Broward County through the Subaru Share the Love® Event.

“At Subaru of Pembroke Pines, we are committed to giving back to our local community and making a meaningful impact through the Share the Love Event,” said Zinn. “We are proud to partner again with Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital and the Humane Society of Broward County.”

Subaru and its retailers support the charities that touch the lives of their community and causes near and dear to them throughout the year, but especially during the Subaru Share the Love Event. This year, the event will include the following four national charities, in addition to Subaru of Pembroke Pines’ charities.

· The ASPCA® (American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®)

·  Make-A-Wish®

·  Meals on Wheels America®

·  National Park Foundation™
