Peabody Companies’ Jessenia Castro Receives Honors from New England Affordable Housing Management Association and IREM Boston Chapter

The Peabody Companies, a group of award-winning property management and real estate firms, is delighted to announce that Jessenia Castro of Randolph, Massachusetts, was the recipient of two awards from the New England Affordable Housing Management Association (NEAHMA) and the IREM Boston Metropolitan Chapter No. 4 during recent events.

Castro, who joined the Peabody Companies in September of 2002, is a specialized community portfolio manager at St. Joseph’s Community in Roxbury, Bradley Properties in Boston, Roxse Homes in Boston, Brownstone Apartments in Boston, and Charlesview Residences in Brighton.

She was honored with the NAHP-e (National Affordable Housing Professional – Executive Level) award during the November NEAHMA Annual Industry Awards reception, held in conjunction with the organization’s Annual Conference and Trade Show at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts. The award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and comprehensive management skills in the affordable housing industry.

Castro was further lauded at the IREM Boston Chapter’s Annual Holiday Celebration and Awards event held on December 4th at The Seaport Hotel in Boston when she received the 2024 Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) of the Year Award. The award recognizes an ARM who has made significant contributions to the residential real estate management profession. It pays tribute to an individual who has demonstrated a commitment to advancing the profession; excellence in service to clients and residents; leadership through innovative initiatives or programs; mentorship and support of others; and community service and ethical business practices.

“The entire Peabody community is so proud of Jessenia as recipient of these well-deserved awards from NEAHMA and the IREM Boston Chapter,” said Melissa Fish-Crane, principal and CEO of the Peabody Companies. “Her dedication and outstanding achievements are truly inspiring to us all.”
