Nationally renowned equity strategist Linda Duessel, CFA, CPA, CFP®, Senior Equity Strategist and Senior Vice President at Federated Hermes, provided her post-election market outlook for 2025 on December 10th to an audience of clients and guests of Coral Gables Trust at Morton’s The Steakhouse in Coral Gables.
The luncheon and discussion were part of Coral Gables Trust’s highly popular Dynamic Wealth Speaker Series, an annual program of informative discussions bringing together some of the top minds on Wall Street.

Her presentation, titled “Economic & Market Post-Election Outlook,” offered valuable insights into critical economic trends, including the potential for the global economy to skirt a recession, record profit margins and manageable corporate debt service levels, rising delinquencies among Millennials and Gen-Z, housing affordability challenges for first-time homebuyers, shelter inflation trends and small business uncertainty, broadening income growth and inflation pressures, election years historically finishing strong with 2024 setting all-time market highs, the U.S. debt landscape, and how Millennials are entering their prime earning years.
