Palmer Trinity School Certified As An IB School

Palmer Trinity School (PTS) is proud to announce that it has been certified as an IB School by International Baccalaureate (IB).

“Palmer Trinity is committed to preparing our students to be members of the greater community by emphasizing academic distinction, ethical global citizenship, and character—priorities that align with the International Baccalaureate mission of educating students to create a better world,” stated Patrick Roberts, Head of School.

As an IB School, PTS offers the IB Diploma Programme, a challenging two-year program of study that aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people in grades 11 and 12.  Students are encouraged to become active, compassionate, and lifelong learners who strive to understand others and their differences across the globe.

Dr. Manjula Salomon, Associate Head of Academics and Global Scholar in Residence, spearheaded this initiative alongside a steering committee of faculty and administrators. She states: “Palmer Trinity School’s IB Diploma Programme students emerge better prepared to be leaders and responsible citizens of a global community with 21st century skills.”
