Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer partnered with Henrico Christmas Mother for the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2024 through their Thalhimer Gives program, a companywide initiative focused on community involvement and charitable giving. Henrico Christmas Mother provides assistance to low-income families during the holiday season in the form of food, clothing, and gift items for their family.
Through Thalhimer Gives, associates actively engage in the community by donating financially, providing much-needed supplies, and giving generously of their time to local non-profit organizations.

- Thalhimer donated a total of $6,914 to Henrico Christmas Mother for Q4. Throughout the quarter, Thalhimer’s associates provided $3,457 through various associate donations, and the company matched that amount dollar-for-dollar.

- Richmond associates volunteered with Henrico Christmas Mother (HCM) at three events:
- Assisted at HCM’s warehouse to set up existing donation items in preparation for December’s Distribution Day
- A team of Richmond associates delivered the many gift items the entire office had purchased for HCM’s distribution day and also helped to sort and organize those donations along with other items and tasks on behalf of HCM
- Fifteen associates had the honor of serving as shopping assistants at HCM’s Distribution Day in December, of which six of our associates served as language interpreters for the shoppers
- Provided items needed for Henrico Christmas Mother
- Throughout the quarter, Richmond associates purchased gift items requested by HCM for Distribution Day including clothing, toys, household items, and grocery store gift cards for program recipients
- Richmond associates volunteered with Henrico Christmas Mother (HCM) at three events:

Henrico Christmas Mother (HCM), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 1942, provides assistance to low-income families in Henrico County during the holiday season in the form of food, new clothing, books, toys, and other gifts. 40% of program costs are dedicated to fighting hunger relief during the two-week winter break, when youth do not receive subsidized meals. 4,205 individuals were served in 2023.
