Edelstein Appoints Michelle Walsh as Chief Operating Officer

Edelstein & Company LLP announced that Michelle Walsh has joined the firm as Chief Operating Officer. Mrs. Walsh was previously Vice President of Client Service at XCM Solutions, recently acquired by Wolters Kluwer.
With more than 21 years of experience, Mrs. Walsh has a deep understanding of the accounting industry. She started her career as an Auditor at Eisner and PwC, served as a Management Consultant at KPMG and most recently spent the last 8 years leading the business operations and Client Service organization at XCM, a tax and accounting workflow platform.
Mrs. Walsh brings a broad base of industry knowledge to Edelstein. She has worked with many top 200 firms to drive process improvement using technology to create operational efficiencies, she has strong industry relationships and proven success in driving strategy, balanced with managing the day-to-day operations.

Mrs. Walsh received a B.A. in Accounting from Syracuse University; she was named a CPA Practice Advisor 2017 20 Under 40 Nominee and co-authored the “How Workflow Technology Can Transform Your Practice” Whitepaper for the AICPA.
