Colliers Florida continues its expansion in South Florida with the addition of brokers Damla Barrett and Jonathan Temple. The team’s expansion further positions the global brokerage firm as a dominant player in the commercial real estate market in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. Barrett will serve as Director of Office Services/Healthcare. Temple will serve as an Associate with the Colliers’ Industrial and Office team in West Palm Beach, with focus on Martin County.

Barrett has over 10 years of experience in tenant representation for corporate and nonprofit tenants. Her expertise includes lease negotiations, office site selection and evaluation and tenant real estate strategy.
She is joining the South Florida team after spending two years with the New York Colliers office. Prior to Colliers, Barrett spent several years at JLL and NAI Global in New York City. Before starting her career in real estate, Barrett spent four years at the United Nations representing the World Information Transfer.
Barrett is a member of the American Turkish Society, the Young Society Leaders, Arab Bankers Association of North America, Urban Land Institute, Michael J. Fox Foundation – Young Professionals, Ellevate Network (Women’s Network) and Summer Search. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Rutgers University.
Temple has over three years of experience in commercial real estate with extensive work in property marketing and data analytics.
He is joining Colliers full-time after completing an internship with the South Florida team in December 2020. Prior to Colliers, Temple spent two years as an Intern with Coldwell Banker Commercial’s Kite Properties Team based in Vero Beach.
Temple received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Auburn University. At Auburn, he was a member of the Information Systems & Analytics Association, and the Real Estate Society at Auburn University.
